Our Counselors

MR. PEELER

Hey! My name is Noah Peeler, and I am primarily serving and supporting students in the PK-2nd grades. This is my first year at Langston Chapel Elementary and my first year as a school counselor.

I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a M.Ed. in Counselor Education, and I have school counseling experience at both the elementary and middle school levels through my Practicum and Internship experiences. I enjoy playing sports and spending time with my family and friends.

I believe that every student has a purpose and is born with unique skills and abilities. I am passionate about helping students recognize their strengths and develop them for a purposeful and impactful life. Every interaction with students is an opportunity to inspire and positively impact them, and I look forward to working with you and your child this school year!

MRS. ANTHONY

My name is Diedre Anthony and I have been a school counselor for 14 years. I have worked in the elementary, middle and high school settings. I have been at Langston Chapel Elementary since 2019, and I served here as an intern in 2008.

I was raised in South Carolina at Shaw Air Force base while my dad served in the Air Force. I attended Georgia Southern University in 2006 and met my husband in Statesboro. We have 4 children and we enjoy spending time on the farm and traveling in our free time.

I primarily work with students in grades 3-5. I love helping students learn how to navigate life's challenges by providing them with tools to be successful. It's important to me that all students are able to feel safe and cared for at Langston Elementary while receiving a quality education.

I look forward to working with you and your child this year! Feel free to reach out to me                                                                            if you have any questions!  danthony@bullochschools.org
