MS. WILLIAMS

Hello!  I am Ms. Williams, and I am the counselor primarily working with PK-2nd grade students.  This is my 8th year as an elementary school counselor and my first year at LCE.  

I received a B.A. in English and an M.Ed. in Counselor Education from Georgia Southern University.  Before joining the LCE community, I worked as an elementary school counselor for Fairfax County Public Schools in Northern Virginia and at the International Community School of Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand.  Before becoming a school counselor, I also lived and worked in Seoul, Korea as an ESL teacher.

MRS. ANTHONY

My name is Diedre Anthony and I have been a school counselor for 14 years. I have worked in the elementary, middle and high school settings. I have been at Langston Chapel Elementary since 2019, and I served here as an intern in 2008. 

I was raised in South Carolina at Shaw Air Force base while my dad served in the Air Force. I attended Georgia Southern University in 2006 and met my husband in Statesboro. We have 4 children and we enjoy spending time on the farm and traveling in our free time. 

I primarily work with students in grades 3-5. I love helping students learn how to navigate life's challenges by providing them with tools to be successful. It's important to me that all students are able to feel safe and cared for at Langston Elementary while receiving a quality education.
